Set up in 2001, ACSEF has worked with over 1,500 businesses to develop a vision for the region it aims to achieve by 2025.
To bring its vision to life, it has developed an ambitious action plan that clearly sets out not only its key priorities, but also some very achievable goals.
ACSEF has committed to taking forward various transformational projects that will build on Aberdeen City and Shire’s position as a leading global energy hub. Energetica is one of these projects - and a great opportunity to reinforce the region’s reputation for being progressive, dynamic and forward-thinking.
ACSEF partners leading the Energetica project are Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and Scottish Enterprise. Other partners involved in ACSEF include Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Skills Development Scotland, VisitScotland, Scottish European Green Energy Centre (SEGEC), Innovation Technology Facilitators (ITF) and the city's two universities - University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University.
