Innovation and Research & Development Grants:

o   Regional Selective Assistance – creation or safeguarding of jobs in Scotland

o   SMART: Scotland - Grants given to Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) based in Scotland. The grant helps you undertake technical feasibility studies and research and development (R&D) projects that have a commercial endpoint

o   Enterprise Fellowship Scheme - An Enterprise Fellowship offers financial support, training and networking opportunities to researchers, post-graduate students and recent graduates that have a viable business idea

o   Innovate UK - Innovate UK funds, supports and connects innovative businesses to accelerate sustainable economic growth

o   Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF) - Identifying industry technology needs, fostering innovation & facilitating development & implementation of new technology

o   Oil & Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) - The Oil & Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) fosters, encourages and funds technology innovation

o   Innovation Voucher Scheme - Research cost awards for joint projects between Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and higher education institutions (HEIs) in Scotland to create new products, services and processes that benefit the business, the institution and the economy.

o Scottish Seed Fund - For early stage investment, usually those transitioning from development to production/commercialisation phase

o Scottish Venture Fund - For companies in transition a high-growth, export-ready phase

o Scottish Co-investment Fund - For businesses aiming to move into new product areas or new markets.
